Ed Sullivan Memorial Training Room

The Ed Sullivan Memorial Training Room honors the lasting impact of Ed Sullivan (1945–2016), whose vision and dedication helped shape the strong partnership between Middlebury Regional EMS and Middlebury College. Ed served as Middlebury College’s Safety Coordinator for 18 years, mentoring countless students through the Middlebury College Emergency Response Team.

After retiring from the College, he joined MREMS and developed the MREMS/Middlebury College J-Term EMT Program — a program that inspired the training opportunities we continue to offer Middlebury students today.

A United States Air Force veteran who served in Vietnam, Ed dedicated his life to public service, combining a passion for education with a deep commitment to community care. His legacy lives on through every student and provider who trains in the room that now bears his name.
