Our Facilities
MREMS is headquartered at a state-of-the-art Emergency Medical Services station. It was dedicated in 2010 after decades of organizational savings and donations from generous community members, civic organizations, local businesses, and Middlebury College. We thank you for your support!
The 11,860 sqft MREMS Headquarters provides an excellent administrative and operations workspace, a modern training facility, and offers staff comprehensive living quarters.

Helicopter Landing Zone
Our facility features a helicopter landing zone for helicopter based EMS (HEMS). It is operated in partnership Porter Medical Center and serves two regional HEMS units, UVM Health Network Critical Care Transport’s Program and Dartmouth Hitchcock Advanced Response Team (DHART). From MREMS patients can be transported rapidly via helicopter to definitive medical care in Vermont and beyond.

Living Quarters
Our living quarters provide comfort and amenities for our staff while on duty. We aim to provide a “home away from home” for our crew. Amenities include:
