First Response and Ambulance Service of the Year Award

On being nominated for the award, MREMS Executive Director Kate Rothwell said:

Throughout the pandemic, MREMS has not only maintained 911 and IFT capabilities, as well as heavy rescue response, but has gone above and beyond in community service in relation to the COVID response … MREMS has provided thousands of vaccines, hosted both static and mobile vaccine clinics, assisted other agencies in their vaccination efforts, and our communication center has patiently answered numerous daily phone calls regarding COVID related questions.
